Q + A

Can I bring a guest?

We're so excited to celebrate this day with our closest family and friends, and boy-oh-boy do we have family! We ask that only those formally invited on your wedding invitation are in attendance. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

We have decided to keep our wedding child-free so everyone can fully relax and enjoy their evening. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night!

What is the dress code?

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding! The dress code is dressy casual attire, think garden party. Our celebration will be outdoors on grass, and we anticipate it being quite warm. Sundresses, cocktail dresses, light dress shirts and khakis or other lightweight slacks. Jackets and ties are optional. Color is encouraged! Sandals welcome for all, get those tootsies out! Avoid sharp heels so you don't sink into the grass. Please no athletic shoes, t-shirts, blue jeans, or baseball hats.

Do we have a registry?

We do not have a formal registry. Instead we would appreciate donations toward a down payment on our future home!

What is the parking situation?

We strongly encourage you to carpool if possible. We will have plenty of signage guiding you to where you will park. In Thornton for the ceremony, we will be parking first in the driveway, then the sideroad and field, followed by across the street in the neighbors drive. In Rumney for the reception, everyone will park in the neighbors nearby field and driveway.

Where will the wedding take place?

The ceremony will take place on the knoll at The Gore. There will be a short walk downhill to the knoll, and the entire path is grassy. We will have a shuttle service for those with mobility issues. The reception will be hosted on the lawn at Camp Coes. The celebration will be under a tent. Parking will be just down the road, and we will have a limited shuttle. You are welcome to walk up the road, or take an adventure path through the woods! Please see the Camp Coes map on the home page.
